Married Jerry Tidwell in 1972, our first 2 daughters were born in Valpo, then Jerry moved us to Colorado in 1978. Then our youngest daughter was born in Wheat Ridge Colorado. I wasn't excited about moving to say the least, but it was the best thing he did, (besides our girls) We divorced in 1982...we both re-married, and we all get along very well. I married Charlie De Stasio in 1984. I have 5 grandchildren, Jalyn, who is Jayme and Charlie Ricks daughter, is 10. Alina, who is Jeanelle and Troy Leyba's daughter is 4 1/2. Then I have 3 grandchildren in Minnesota from Charlies first marriage. His daughter Cristin has Mac, who is 16, Callie, who is 8, and Ben who is 5.
When I moved here with Jerry, we lived in Estes Park, then Evergreen Colorado. It was hard to drive without looking at the scenery. Jillian was the first family member to be born in Colorado. She holds that title with pride. = )
I was offered a part time job in 1987, by my veterinarian at the time. Been there ever since. He says he is gonna retire soon, but we haven't seen much evidence yet. My husband has his own business, it has been a little rough lately, but things seem to be getting a little better.
I have to admit I was back in Hobart 2 summers ago to see my cousin who was really sick, and I didn't go see the new high school. My sister Lori, who graduated in 1981 and is a True Brickie, was pissed that I didn't check it out. I will next time.
