John passed away at his home in June 2022.  I had 1 class with John.  I sat next to him in sophomore biology class at the far back corner 2 seat table of Mr. Johnstons alphabetical ordered class.  John spoke with a heavy accent; I have learned it was German based on his last name.  I enjoyed my partnering with John that year.  I don't think we would ever have become friendly had we not shared a biology table together in 10th grade.  May God give peace and comfort to John's family and friends.  Thank you for your Navy service John.
