but he had lots to say once you knew him.
I dare to say that he was even more oddball than I was,
and that, friends, is a strong statement!
Joel was, w/o a doubt, more philosophical than any other person I have ever met. Joel had the craziest takes on stuff that never failed to rock me back on my heels... stuff I had never even THOUGHT ABOUT!
Pardon my language here, but Joel was the guy who introduced me to the concept of a "Hungarian Cluster Fuck."
